You're probably pondering over the title of this blog.. well as you read along, you'll probably figure out what i meant.
2nd of December 2007, Sunday. The day started like any other sundays i've spent. Woke up at around 9 am, checked my mails and my downloads, surfing the net for a while (hehe).
Probably around 9:30 am i got out of my room and my dad saw me. "Bakit hindi ka pa bihis?"
was the first sentence i've heard that day, i've just only realized that we were suppose to get
ready before 9:30am to go to SM Mall of Asia. darn! i totally forgot! (^_^;)...
You see, i was the one that wanted to go to MoA that day. i had told my dad yesterday that there was this Anime Convention being held at the SMX near MoA (Hataw Hanep Hero 3). So soon after my realization, i went straight to the bathroom and got ready (really fast). I took a bath and changed my clothes so fast that i forgot to bring my DLSR camera! (T_T) (waaaa! ang malas talaga! sa lahat ng mga araw eh ngayon pa!). When we finally arrived at SM MoA i didn't go straight to the convention center, but we just went around the Mall window shopping (yeah cuz i was planning on going to the Hero con at around 2pm)
Then finally 2pm came (well.. it was kinda like 2:30pm hehe). My dad took my mom to the airport i was left at MoA. so i went to SMX (pretty nice convention center btw) and on to the Hero Con. Finally saw the entrance to the Hero Con, and not only that but i also saw 3 huge bouncers guarding it (lolz.. they scared me). So i bought a ticket at the booth for about 100pesos so i could get pass those bouncers full of steroids (lolz).
At last i'm inside the Con! yey! horay for me! (^o^)/~
Truthfully, i wasn't quite surprised on what i've seen there. It was just like your typical anime/manga convention. Full of Kids, Otakus, cosplayers, Game booths, Comics/Man
ga, Anime, Toy booths, Tech stuff, Music, and Food! (oh and also still lotsa bouncers and security). This is probably the first anime convention i've seen with big ass bouncers going around. By the time i was inside the con, they were already half way with the group cosplay performance (nyoooo!). The POT (prince of tennis) guys were already doing their mini concert as a group (good thing i've already seen their performance at UP Ame Gakuensai). The best
group i've seen that day would probably be Naruto guys VS Yakitate Japan guys. very funny performance (^7^) hehe..
The next performers were boring, so i walked around the con trying to see what's going on around. By the time i finished walking around the area, the group cosplay was also done. My feet by then was tired from all the walking and standing around. so i decided i'd take one more stroll and then go back to the Mall. Then i saw this group of guys swarming around one girl. out of curiousity i took a look at why they were all over her.
"Hmm... familiar siya ah.."
"Toinks, it's Alodia's sis... Ashley Gosiengfiao"
now i know why... now i became part of the swarm. saw and took the chance of taking a pic with her. by then, i was thinking that my day became good. Imagine how shocked i became when i saw this very familiar girl wearing a pink wig with a black and white polka dotted headband. "Shyet that's Crissy (Cris Si) and that's Slumberdoll (Tricia) beside her!" i kinda shouted at myself. I charged over there with cell phone on camera mode on hand. "Pwede mgpapicture?" (probably said that about 10 times today). After that i wondered if they're here that would mean that Alodia's here too.. and i was right. I just had a hard time seeing here because she was in the middle of about 50 guys swarming around her. so i just took snapshots of her.. (oh for you guys who doesn't know them.. they're very famous on the DA community, Deviantart.com, Alodia and Tricia were on Animax Levi's kawaii girls in which Alodia won the Levi's Kawaii Girl contest)
I Finally got out of the convention at about 5pm and went to the SM Science Discovery Center (still at MoA), bcoz my dad was there. I bought a ticket to enter for 330php! ( what a rip-off! or so i thought ). More than half of the exhibit there gives info that i probably already know (talk about discovering...) and some really neat stuff. It wasn't until we got inside the Planetarium that got me amazed (the Planetarium itself is worth the ticket). It was just spectacular sitting there looking up at the screen and seeing stars and planets moving around (Harrison Ford is narrating in the background). And yes.. not only we saw Mars but we also landed on Mars (sort of.. well i does feel like we've landed on mars). Anyways, all i can say is that the Planetarium show was amazing and it really got me interested on stars and planets. So i'm telling you guys to catch this show! you won't regret it!
So that's how my day went...
Saw my Venuses at the Hero Con...
Landed on Mars at the Planetarium...
